Shipping Policy & Prohibited Items

1. How shipping works

We coordinate shipping from Chennai through reputed third-party courier and logistics partners. We compare the available options for your destination and share them with your quote, so you can choose between speed and cost.

Once your items are purchased and consolidated, we pack them securely, prepare the invoice and customs documents, hand the shipment to the courier, and share the tracking details with you.

2. Shipping costs

Shipping is charged at the courier's rate and is separate from our service charge. It depends on:

• the destination country and postcode;
• the actual weight or volumetric (size-based) weight, whichever is higher;
• the service chosen (economy or express); and
• optional extras such as insurance or special packing for fragile items.

Shipping estimates in quotes are based on expected weight. The final shipping charge is confirmed after packing, and we will contact you before dispatch if it differs significantly.

3. Delivery times

Sourcing and purchasing usually take a few working days, depending on the items and sellers. Once dispatched, express services typically deliver in 3–7 working days and economy services take longer. These are estimates; customs clearance, public holidays, weather and courier delays can extend them.

4. Customs, duties and taxes

International shipments may be charged import duties, taxes (such as VAT or GST) and clearance fees by the destination country. These are set by the destination country, are payable by the recipient unless agreed otherwise in the quote, and are not included in our charges.

All shipments are declared accurately with their true contents and value, as required by law. We cannot under-declare values or mislabel items.

5. Addresses and delivery

Please make sure the delivery address and phone number are complete and correct. Couriers may charge for address corrections, and shipments returned because of incorrect details are re-shipped at your cost.

6. Prohibited items

We will not source or ship the following items. This list reflects Indian export rules, international air-transport rules and courier policies, and is not exhaustive:

• Weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks and replicas
• Flammable, corrosive or hazardous items — including aerosols, lighters, matches, paints, solvents and camphor in bulk
• Narcotics, drugs and psychotropic substances
• Currency, coins, bullion, cheques and negotiable instruments
• Counterfeit, pirated or trademark-infringing goods
• Wildlife products — ivory, animal skins, shells, coral, feathers of protected species
• Antiques over 100 years old and items covered by the Antiquities and Art Treasures Act
• Human or animal remains, and perishable fresh food such as meat, fish, dairy, fresh fruit and vegetables
• Pornographic or obscene material, and anything illegal in India or the destination country

7. Restricted items

These items can sometimes be shipped, but only with particular couriers, extra paperwork, limits on quantity, or not at all to some countries. We will check and advise before purchase:

• Medicines, Ayurvedic and herbal remedies, and supplements (a prescription may be required)
• Perfumes, attar, nail polish and other alcohol-based cosmetics
• Lithium batteries and electronics containing batteries
• Homemade or loose food items, pickles, ghee and oils
• Seeds, plants, soil and dried flowers
• Gold, silver and precious jewellery (value and insurance limits apply)
• Liquids, powders and gels in large quantities
