1. About us and these terms

“Your India Buddy”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Your India Buddy, based at 1/5, Barathiyar St, S2 Vasantham Apartments, Saligramam, Chennai 600093, India. “You” means the person placing a request or using this website (yourindiabuddy.com).

By using the website or placing a request, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our services

We act as your representative in India. Depending on your request, we may:

• search for and identify products and suppliers in India (sourcing);
• purchase products on your behalf from Indian sellers (purchase assistance);
• collect purchases from multiple sellers and repack them together (consolidation); and
• arrange international shipping through third-party courier partners (shipping coordination).

We are not the manufacturer or seller of the products we source. Products are sold by third-party sellers, and shipments are carried by independent courier companies.

3. Requests and quotes

Submitting a request through our website, WhatsApp or email is an enquiry only. It does not create a binding contract and no payment is taken on the website.

After reviewing your request we will send you a quote that sets out, where known, the product costs, estimated shipping cost and our service charge. A contract is formed only when you approve the quote and we confirm we will proceed.

Quotes are based on prices and availability at the time. If a price or availability changes before purchase, we will contact you before proceeding.

4. Service charges and payment

Our service charge starts from ₹2,500 per request. The final service charge depends on the number of items, sourcing effort, consolidation and coordination involved, and is confirmed in your quote.

The actual product bill, shipping charges, packing materials, insurance (if chosen), and any bank or payment transfer charges are payable in addition to the service charge, as set out in your quote.

Payment is due as stated in your quote, normally before we purchase products. We are not obliged to purchase or ship anything until payment is received.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate product details, quantities, delivery addresses and contact information.
• Ensure the products you request may lawfully be exported from India and imported into the destination country.
• Pay any import duties, taxes, and customs charges in the destination country unless your quote says otherwise.
• Respond to our questions in a reasonable time so that your request is not delayed.

We may decline or cancel any request, including requests for items listed in our prohibited and restricted items list.

6. Products and sellers

We take reasonable care to buy from reputable sellers and to check items for obvious damage or errors when they reach us. However, we do not manufacture products and cannot guarantee their quality, durability, fitness for a purpose, or that they match a seller's description in every respect.

Warranties, returns and exchanges are subject to each seller's own policies, and returns from overseas are often impractical. Colours, sizes and product details may vary slightly from photographs.

7. Shipping, delivery and customs

Delivery timelines provided by us or courier partners are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, strikes, public holidays or other events beyond our control are not our responsibility.

Once a shipment is handed to the courier, responsibility for transit is with the courier, subject to its terms. We will help you raise a claim if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit. See our Shipping Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a request is limited to the service charge paid for that request. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts or omissions of sellers, couriers, customs authorities or other third parties.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Use of the website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the request or contact forms, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with the website's operation.

The Your India Buddy name, logo and website content belong to us and may not be used without our permission. Product names and brands mentioned belong to their respective owners.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will always try to resolve concerns informally first — please contact us. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you approve a quote applies to that request.
